Prisca Lewis is a veteran educator committed to scholar success and wellness inside and outside of the classroom. Prisca began her career in Kansas City, Missouri as a 7th grade History teacher before moving back to Atlanta and continuing her work with Atlanta Public Schools. Prisca earned a bachelor’s degree in Middle School Education from the University of Georgia and a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Columbus State University. As a passionate educator, lifelong learner, and servant leader, Prisca’s work is fueled by the belief that scholars thrive in environments were their wellbeing is first and foremost, they have experiences that contribute to Black joy and celebrate Blackness, and are meaningful. In her spare time, Prisca enjoys camping, watching movies, and working out.
