The Study Hall's Five-Point Scholar Model
Academic Enrichment
The Academic Enrichment of our scholars is the primary focus of our programs. Our skilled Academic Coaches provide homework assistance & interactive supplemental tutorial lessons to enhance the at-school performance of our Scholars. Our scholars also participate in project-based learning activities related to STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math.)
Cultural Enrichment
Scholars have opportunities to participate in the performing arts, dance, drama, arts & crafts, and culinary arts. Our field trip roster is rich with visits to music and theatre performances and tours of art and history museums.
Financial Literacy
Every grade participates in age-appropriate lessons in financial literacy. Our scholars are learning skills that will enable them to create personal financial and career plans, become entrepreneurs, and be contributing members of the community in which they live.
Civic Engagement
At The Study Hall we teach our scholars “To whom much is given, much is required.” Scholars participate in community service projects based upon social challenges they are most interested helping to eliminate. Our scholars have taken on the task of raising awareness about such causes as eradicating hunger and homelessness, and protecting the environment.
Wellness
The Study Hall helps our scholars lead healthy and active lifestyles. We provide healthy snacks and meals, educational workshops on the importance of preparing and eating nutritious meals, and raise awareness about the health issues that most impact our community. All scholars participate in daily outdoor activity and exercise. During summer camp, we provide swimming lessons and other sports activities.
